Charles Parker, et. al.,
v. Sears, Roebuck and Co.

Range Anti-Tip Device Settlement

A Settlement has been proposed in a class action lawsuit for people that purchased a freestanding or slide-in range from Sears between July 2, 2000, and September 18, 2007. The range must have been delivered and hooked up by Sears, and must be for home use only. The Proposed Settlement also includes those who, after the range was delivered by Sears, paid for installation of an anti-tip device, all of which must have occurred between July 2, 2000, and September 18, 2007.

If the Proposed Settlement is approved, Sears will offer free installation of anti-tip devices to eligible Class Members who do not have a device installed or, alternatively, the Class Member may choose a $50 nontransferable gift card good towards the purchase of a new Sears range. Sears will also offer reimbursement to those Class Members who, after Sears delivered their range, paid for installation of an anti-tip device.

Your legal rights will be affected whether you act or not. Please read this notice carefully.
